Dorchester Brook
14.4 acres of flood plain forest on Dorchester Brook donated by Elliot Schneider
Natural & Cultural Significance
The property features large White Pines, Holly Beech and Oaks tucked throughout. Some paths lead to vernal pools, while others gently guide us to a rocky outcrop, where in centuries past, Wampanoag may have gathered material for arrowheads and other tools. Sachems might have met with their councils amongst the sentinel pines. This is our first donation in Bristol County.
