OUR APPROACH
Native Land Conservancy is committed to building understanding and partnerships for Indigenous-led conservation to preserve and protect nature, culture, and historical sites of significance through traditional ways of knowing.
WHAT WE OFFER
We work closely with tribal nations, land trusts, nonprofits, and other conservation partners, offering hands-on guidance to support cultural access and land return. Our team offers a wide range of support, from thought partnership and guidance to approach models and connections to other experts and support providers.
Some of our specific offerings include:
Guidance on how to start Indigenous-led conservation organizations
Models and templates for conservation and cultural respect easements, including guidance on knowing when and how to use them
Support finding, navigating, and applying for grant applications
Information on land donations, including how to encourage individual donations and ensure it is donated in a complete manner
Identifying potential partners for funding or support with direct land holding
