The Native Land Conservancy, in partnership with the Mashpee Wampanoag Natural Resources Department, is hosting its 3rd Annual Honor the Earth Fair on April 18th, 2026, from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Government Center at 386 Great Neck Road South in Mashpee. The event is a celebration of the earth from the Indigenous perspective and an opportunity to educate the community on the best practices for living in balance with nature and protecting our shared home.
The event will be free and open to the public.
As many as 40 exhibitors and vendors will promote environmental efforts highlighting cultural resources among our local partners. There will also be a performance by the Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers followed by the Taste of the Earth plant-based cooking contest. Novice chefs are invited to prepare a plant-based recipe to compete for a first prize of a hand coiled traditional clay pot made by NLC founder Ramona Peters.
